From an early age, I discovered my passion for sales. At just eight years old, while my dad focused on his detailing business, I went door-to-door and sold artwork to our neighbors. I still remember one encounter in particular — after presenting my art to a gentleman, he smiled, handed me five dollars, and kindly said I could keep the art piece. That moment showed me the power of connection and the influence genuine communication can have. Since then, I’ve built over seven years of sales experience, which have shaped me both professionally and personally. My current role as a Sales Team Lead for the Universal Rewards Credit Card has further developed my communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills while teaching me the value of staying composed under pressure. The opportunity to connect with people, understand their needs, and deliver real solutions is what drives my passion to continuously improve and succeed.

The University of Central Florida’s Professional Selling Program

The University of Central Florida’s Professional Selling Track is a highly competitive, one-year program that selects just 35 students each year who show strong potential in sales leadership. Offered through the Department of Marketing in the UCF College of Business, the program provides the training and experience needed to succeed in a variety of industries, including technology, healthcare, consumer goods, and services. What sets this program apart is its focus on real-world application. Students participate in advanced role-play exercises, sales simulations, and are paired with a professional mentor each semester to gain practical insights from experienced salespeople. Outside the classroom, the program offers access to exclusive networking events, professional development workshops, and etiquette training, along with the opportunity to connect with over 30 corporate partners. The Professional Selling Track is a valuable experience that helps students build a strong foundation in sales and prepares them to enter the workforce with confidence and a competitive edge.
